Dear all,

Some guys asked me: How to remove IP checksum in some PT client. They use this function to check: is it their IP? If not the game will end, if the IP ok the game will continue normally. This is simple way to protect client from using by others.

Of course, It's simple way so will have simple way to remove this checksum

Here we go:

This is the picture in client has been protected:



Modify it to like this:



That's all. IP checksum was disabled.

After changed this code I get Unable to Connection if i want connect to a server any idea?

Did you check in ptreg.rgx or registry already? Because i didnot do anything that effect to your issuse

Sonnb, first off all, thanks for the tutorial, realy thx. I see the pictures, i try understand but i realy dont can understand what you do there to disable the IP off client =S
Don't see any "NOP" or something like =/
Sorry for the stupid question and for the "bad english", but if you can, please try to explain a little more detailed.
