Admin Login Only

Ah, sorry for posting all my errors here.

I have one issue at the moment. For whatever reason, only my administrator account can login to Priston Tale. My debug accounts, can't, nor can a normal account. However, if I use the admin password, I can get into any account.

Any clues? ^^

I believe it's SQL.dll related. It says "Connection Lost to Server" for any account other than the admin one.

Your hotuk has too many unnecessary lines :D

*TT_DATA_SERVER
*SERVER_LINK_IP
*LOGIN_SERVER_IP 75.24.47.121
*SYSTEM_IP 75.24.47.121
*ENABLE_CLAN 75.24.47.121 80 75.24.47.121 80 75.24.47.121 80
*CLSAFE_CODE 100

Remove them. And

*DEBUG_ID Meow
*DEBUG_ID Poop
*DEBUG_ID Kaka

Should be

*DEBUG_ID Meow Poop Kaka

DarkKnigtH20 check your sqldll.reg, if it use IP 127.0.0.1 (instead names) as mssql address, be sure to have same alias (127.0.0.1) at mssql

Hi Guys,

I know this is an old post, but I thought I'd go ahead and bump it anyway.

I technically never did solve this problem. I instead rigged the connection using NT Auth mode instead of SQL Auth mode and that fixed it (with a combo of ODBC).

Anyway, what really is happening is that I cannot login to any account unless I use the "*ADMIN_LOGIN" password. My SQL.dll is edited, my Clan.dll is edited, my registry is edited :)

Now, this error doesn't really prevent me from doing anything, but I'd like to get it fixed nontheless because I am going to be working on a new server pack.

Nope Dark, Admin_login mean you can login to all account (server running normally) with the passwd u did set.

Dark, did you move your sql database? I know that if you restore your account db from a backup, it happens sometimes where the sql.dll does that and does not allow for connection to take place. It happened to me once, and I had to re-enter manually all 300 or so accounts x.x

Hi Sleepy,

I actually have not moved anything or even used a backup. It was a fresh SQL install. Also, if anyone was wondering, I have not installed clans or anything like that. When I try to login to an account it gives "Connection Lost" right away unless I use the admin_login. Here's a log of mine--

153945|GameServer SPT
153945|g_LogPath asd
153945|g_szAccountIP DK\SQLEXPRESS
153945|BillingDbIP DK\SQLEXPRESS
153945|g_szLogIP DK\SQLEXPRESS
153945|g_szBillingLogIP DK\SQLEXPRESS
153945|g_szCountryCheck 0
153945|g_szPCCheck 0
153945|g_szPCDBIP DK\SQLEXPRESS
153945|g_szClanDBIP DK\SQLEXPRESS
153945| GetRegistryInfo End

153945|SiegeMoneyTax lpszClanMarkNum [0] lpszTt [0] lpszTax [0]
153945|SiegeMoneyTax lpszTt=0

154211|SQLLogon===== testt's sRet[-5] lpszGPCode[0] lpszDisuseDay [0] lpszUsePeriod [0] lpszPCRNo [0] [32]
154716|SiegeMoneyTax lpszClanMarkNum [0] lpszTt [0] lpszTax [0]
154716|SiegeMoneyTax lpszTt=0

155154|CharRecordLog testt 1251
155221|ServerExit
And a billingdb error--

154211|SELECT TOP 1 Num, EXTERNAL_ID, GOODS_TYPE, START_DAY, END_DAY, LEFT_TIME, CHARGE_FORM FROM 0 WHERE (PRISTONTALE_ID = 'testt') AND UPDATE_CHECK='U' ORDER BY NUM DESC
154211|SELECT TOP 1 Num, EXTERNAL_ID, GOODS_TYPE, START_DAY, END_DAY, LEFT_TIME, CHARGE_FORM FROM 0 WHERE (PRISTONTALE_ID = 'testt') AND ( DATEADD( mi , 10, getdate()) BETWEEN START_DAY AND END_DAY) AND UPDATE_CHECK='N' ORDER BY NUM DESC
I know that I've hexed correctly and all that so *shrug*. I can get the server to work through other means, but I'd like to have it connect normally for once.

Hi DK20, It seems really some sql.dll error, double check its hexa. if you not sure about its integrity, I can send one for you.
Another clue ( I dont know why) I already got almost same error and I fixed it just creating sql alias and re-hexing all related files ( sql.dll , sqldll.reg etc etc ). Do not use any special characters at your mssql alias, just use something like " MYSERVER "
I hope you get better luck now :)

I've actually tried all that :) IP and pipe (and I enabled pipes). And I know it's hexed correctly. The account registration is fine too (I've registered accounts manually, also using xpt registration, and also using quantum's asp registration script). My hotuk is fine as well. I'm at a loss with this one =P I can always use NT Auth to get it working, but I'd like to have SQL Auth for once.
